JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a metering technician at Emmaboda Energi, you will work on both administrative and technical challenges. In collaboration with our business areas for electricity grid, district heating network, water, and district heating, you will be responsible for ensuring the collection of meter readings from meters to customers. Plan ongoing meter replacements and participate in our projects. Your main responsibilities: - System responsible for remote reading systems - Troubleshooting and correcting issues in the field regarding meters and technical equipment connected to them - Participate in ongoing projects where we transition from analog to digital water meters - Analyze meter readings - Participate in and lead future projects concerning meter data collection - Plan meter replacements We offer a secure and developing workplace where you get to work in a cohesive team and have the opportunity to develop in your role. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who: - Has post-secondary education as an engineering technician or civil engineer from technical education, or other education and experience deemed equivalent - Technical interest and good experience with computer systems - Practical experience of technical work - Is solution-oriented, structured, and enjoys working in a team Requirements: - Valid driver's license (Category B) Meritorious: - Previous experience in electrical work, meter data collection, or meter reading analysis About You: Technical interest and ability make the work easier, but commitment, work ethic, collaboration, and safety awareness are more important to us than your background. Since communication is an important part of safety, you need to have proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
