At the production facility in Alingsås, we manufacture accessories for AC cables ranging from 1 kV to 420 kV as well as accessories for HVDC cables. Manufacturing has been established in Alingsås since 1956 and has since served as a specialized factory for cable accessories used for safe and easy connections in distribution and transmission applications. Job Description In the role of machine operator, you will work in production with the manufacturing of rubber components. Your daily work will include monitoring processes on various machines, ensuring production flows smoothly, and performing quality checks. Working hours are scheduled for two shifts but may also include night shifts. Qualifications We are looking for you with a technical education or someone who has worked in a similar role. It is important that you can work both independently and as part of a team. Other important qualities for the role are engagement and a willingness to learn, with a high quality focus. If you have interests in mechanics and technology, that is also a great advantage for this position. Instructions may be provided in both Swedish and English, so you need to handle both languages well. You are an engaged team player who is accustomed to taking responsibility for your work and enjoys taking initiative. Requirements • Driver's license and access to a car • Previous industrial experience • Preferably upper secondary education from electrical, technical, or industrial programs • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
