Mark Workshop Skaraborg is a department within the Army Staff and we have approximately 130 employees. We primarily perform maintenance on the Swedish Armed Forces' ground equipment and partly also aircraft and navy. This includes maintenance in the form of inspection, renovation, repair, new manufacturing, disassembly, and modification. You will be part of Mark Workshop Skaraborg which operates in Karlsborg and Såtenäs. This position is located in Karlsborg and is part of the Machine/Smithy department with 16 employees. Main Responsibilities As a machine operator you will mainly work with machine processing, manufacturing, repair, maintenance, drawing reading, programming of NC-machines Mazak, primarily with focus on turning, but also various work on the Swedish Armed Forces' equipment and material systems. The work involves both preventive and corrective maintenance as well as modification and rebuilding based on established documentation. REQUIREMENTS Qualifications · At least completed two- or three-year gymnasium with focus on workshop technology or machine technology or other equivalent education, or competence acquired through professional experience that the employer deems equivalent. · Previous experience working as an NC-operator in a similar field. · Class B driver's license Personal Qualities The personal qualities sought are good initiative and cooperation skills and that you are confident in your work role.
