The Workshop Yards, MvE, are a unit within the Army Staff, AST, that performs maintenance on the Swedish Armed Forces' ground equipment, air base equipment, and provides technical system support. This includes maintenance in the form of inspections, repairs, manufacturing, dismantling/scrapping, modifications, operational support, technical adaptation, and material inspection. The workshop yard unit delivers services according to customer requirements. Check out this link: https://youtu.be/jDWtiZdUfSk Main Responsibilities As a customer receptionist (workshop administrator), you will work with administrative tasks related to preventive and corrective maintenance. You will also be responsible for planning, ordering, and following up on material maintenance in the Swedish Armed Forces. Primarily the workshop's internal equipment and materials. Examples of work tasks: Monitoring of the workshop's internal vehicles/equipment Performing reporting and register maintenance in follow-up systems Documentation and verification in financial and material tracking systems Creating material maintenance orders Processing calls for centrally procured goods and services Representing MvE at collaboration meetings with our users/clients Conducting production coordination/preparation of workshop production REQUIREMENTS Qualifications At least completed two- or three-year secondary education with a focus on automotive technology or equivalent, alternatively competence acquired through work experience that the employer deems equivalent Experience with similar work Good computer skills with knowledge of MS Office suite, primarily Word and Excel B-class driver's license Personal Qualities You are independent, take responsibility for your tasks, and drive your processes forward. You work well in a team and listen and communicate constructively. You are calm in your manner, attentive, and accommodating in your approach. Furthermore, it is important that you have an interest, willingness, and ability to help others and are solution-oriented. Meritorious Experience with maintenance planning C/CE-class driver's license Forklifttruck certification Previous experience and knowledge of workshop operations and material maintenance in the Swedish Armed Forces Knowledge of the SAP business system Previous experience with LEAN and 5S Familiarity with the Swedish Armed Forces and its support systems Other Information About the Position Employment type: permanent position starting with a 6-month probationary period Employment level: full-time, daytime hours – varying work hours may occur Work location: Workshop Yard South/Revingehed Start date: as soon as possible by agreement The position also involves requirements for domestic and international travel and duty service.
