Manufacturing Data Specialist for Data-Driven Production

As a Manufacturing Data Specialist, you'll have a central role where you ensure that production data is accurate, accessible, and creates value. You work closely with production and IT, connecting the factory floor with data platforms and analytical solutions, and contribute to improvements and more data-driven production. OSTP Group is one of the world's leading manufacturers of welded stainless steel pipes and pipe fittings with manufacturing in Sweden and Finland. OSTP Group has approximately 500 employees. In Örnsköldsvik, approximately 150 people work across two facilities. Örnsköldsvik plays a key role within the group with the market's broadest product range of stainless steel pipe fittings. Responsibilities In this role, you work closely with production and serve as a bridge between automation, data, and operations. You're responsible for ensuring that data maintains high quality and can be used as a solid foundation for analysis, improvement work, and decision-making. An important part of the work is understanding the context behind the data and ensuring that it reflects the reality of production. The role involves clear ownership of production data, where you establish structure, define standards, and ensure that data maintains high quality throughout its lifecycle. You will also contribute to developing how data is structured and used across the organization. Ensure that data is correctly defined, understood, and usable Own and manage production data, including key tags and signals from machines and processes Work with databases and data platforms to ensure that production data is stored, structured, and accessible for analysis Support the organization in how data can be used to create value and insights Retrieve and structure data from PLC, SCADA, and automation systems Work closely with data engineers, cloud teams, and digitalization functions Contribute to the development of data models and semantic models Who Are You? We're looking for someone with technical interests and a background in automation or production, driven by creating structure and quality in data. You have a good understanding of how data is generated in an industrial environment and how it can be used to improve processes and results.
