Leksands Municipality's school operations place great focus now and going forward on the development of students' reading and writing skills, which is integrated with the current curriculum that you are well familiar with. You are responsible for the pedagogical content of instruction and work to promote student learning and development. You will work as a teacher in mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, and technology. Your responsibilities include collaboration with colleagues and communication with students and guardians. Together with your colleagues, you will participate in projects aimed at developing instruction and increasing student achievement. A current priority area for us is improving mathematics merit values. Your profile We are looking for you who are a certified primary school teacher for grades 7–9 with qualifications in mathematics and science. Meritorious with experience from the teaching profession. As a person, you are flexible and accustomed to independently planning your work. You are solution-oriented and have a good ability to see situations from a holistic perspective. You are also clear, confident, and creative, and have the ability to inspire our students. You enjoy collaborating in a team and share your experiences for collegial learning that contributes to development at individual, group, and organizational levels. Together with your colleagues, you work to create a safe, structured, developmentally rich, and stimulating learning environment for students. About the workplace Sammilsdalskolan 7–9 is a junior high school with just over 460 students in six parallel classes. We use Google's platforms with students and Teams between staff. We work according to a Language, Reading, and Writing Plan at all municipality schools. This commitment is then visible in all the school's subjects, not just Swedish.
