With us, you will be an important part of creating a pleasant dining environment for our youngest guests. The Position and Tasks Your work will include preparing breakfast, preparing and serving lunch, and serving snacks. Salads and various side dishes are prepared for lunch. Lunch meals are delivered from our cooking kitchen at Engelbrektsskolan 4–9. The preschool serves approximately 60 lunch portions per day and has three departments. Other tasks included in the role: - Handle dishwashing - Manage daily cleaning routines in the kitchen - Handle special diets - Work with self-inspection (digital program) - Purchasing food and consumables - Receive deliveries - Administrative work - Possible work with children in the afternoons Your Qualifications and Competencies We are looking for someone with education in cooking and several years of kitchen experience. You need strong knowledge of food hygiene. Good verbal and written skills in Swedish are a requirement for the position. It is advantageous to have good knowledge of special diets. As a person, you are flexible and adapt well to changing circumstances. You can quickly adjust your perspective and work approach and see opportunities in change. You collaborate well with others and relate to people in a responsive, smooth, and professional manner. By listening, communicating clearly, and handling any conflicts constructively, you contribute to a good working climate. In your interactions, you are calm, attentive, and accommodating, with a clear focus on service. You have interest, willingness, and ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions.
