At Åbykulle, we are looking for care assistants for temporary positions at our LSS residences in Hölö. Here we work to create a safe, developmental, and meaningful everyday life for our service users – people with neuropsychiatric disabilities and extensive support needs. About the Role As a care assistant at our LSS residences, you work closely with the service users and provide individually tailored support in daily life. You help create a safe home environment, work pedagogically and build relationships, and support the service users' independence and participation in everyday activities. Main Responsibilities • Provide individually tailored support in daily activities such as personal care, household chores, the service user's work at day activities (DV), and leisure activities. • Work pedagogically to promote independence, participation, and development. • Be a present and trusted adult in the service users' everyday life. • Document according to established routines and implementation plans. • Collaborate with family members, guardians, and other professionals. • Participate in training and meetings and contribute to the organization's quality improvement work. Qualifications • Education in care, social work, pedagogy, or another relevant field. • Previous experience working at LSS residences or with people with disabilities. • B-category driver's license (manual transmission). • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. • A flexible, responsible, and secure approach to your professional role. Desirable Experience and Knowledge • Knowledge of structured pedagogy, low-affect approaches, and other adapted methods. • Experience working with challenging behaviors and communication support such as AAC. • Interest in creating an active and stimulating everyday life for the service users.
