Nordmarkens School is located in the southern part of Årjängs town center and is the municipality's largest school. It is an F-9 school with approximately 700 students and over 100 staff members. The school grounds comprise three different buildings, two of which are relatively newly constructed. One building houses grades 1-6, one for grades 7-9, and one for preschool, after-school care, and preparatory class. The middle school is the municipality's only middle school with approximately 330 students in grades 7-9. The school was built in 2015 and each student has access to their own computer. The students at the school represent a cross-section of our society, and approximately 60 staff members work at the school. Teaching shall be adapted based on students' needs, and staff have high expectations that students will achieve good results. We have a well-functioning support system aimed at quickly identifying students and providing early intervention. The school has special education teachers, special educators, counselors, school nurses, study and career advisors, and through student health services there is access to school psychologists and school doctors. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are seeking an engaged and knowledgeable Spanish teacher for grades 6-9 who wants to become part of Nordmarkens School. Mentorship is included. As a Spanish teacher with us, you will work in a well-organized team with a strong focus on collaboration and support, both within Spanish and with other subject colleagues. You have an important role in supporting students' development, both linguistically and socially. QUALIFICATIONS • Teacher certification with authorization to teach Spanish for grades 6-9 • Strong knowledge of the Spanish language and Spanish-speaking culture • Experience teaching in primary school is an advantage • Ability to create a safe and inclusive learning environment • Good collaboration skills and experience working in subject and team groups • Interest in developing teaching with the support of digital tools • Commitment to students' knowledge development and well-being • Valid driver's license is required as some teaching takes place at another school in the municipality Advantages: Experience with and knowledge of NPF.
