We are now seeking a licensed preschool teacher who wants to be part of our nature-based activities in Östersund. About Knallhatten The parent-cooperative Knallhatten is an established "I Ur och Skur" preschool that has existed since 1992. For us, nature is an important part of children's learning, development, and discovery. We spend time outdoors every day year-round and actively work with Friluftfrämjandet's pedagogy through activities like Mulle and Knytteverksamhet, excursions, outdoor lunches over an open fire, and ski school in winter. We are a small preschool with 27 children, a stable organization, good finances, and low staff turnover. Here you will meet engaged colleagues, present guardians, and a secure group of children where everyone knows everyone. As a parent-cooperative, the operations are run as a non-profit – all focus is on creating the best possible daily life for the children. About the Position As a licensed preschool teacher with us, you have an important role as a pedagogical leader in the operation. You are responsible for planning, implementing, documenting, and following up on teaching in accordance with the curriculum's goals and intentions. You lead and develop pedagogical work together with colleagues and actively contribute to translating our visions and values into practice every day. The role includes, among other things: – taking responsibility for pedagogical content and teaching. – driving and developing systematic quality work. – documenting, following up on, and analyzing children's development and learning. – responsibility for development conversations and pedagogical documentation. – contributing to good norms and safe interaction in the group of children. – introducing and onboarding new children together with the rector. – collaborating closely with colleagues and guardians. – planning and carrying out excursions and activities in natural environments. – contributing to the operation's continued development and quality. About the Employment The position is a permanent full-time employment with an initial probationary period of 6 months. Start date: August 2026 or by agreement.
