Aktivera Rehab in Sollentuna is now recruiting a licensed occupational therapist for a permanent position. You must hold Swedish occupational therapy licensure. We provide primary care rehabilitation services under the Region. Our team of 25 employees includes occupational therapists, physical therapists, chiropractors, dietitians, and receptionists who collaborate to ensure patients receive the highest quality care. We work with a multimodal approach centered on the patient, which we view as a key strength in our operations and in your work. Therefore, it is important that you can collaborate effectively with colleagues across all professional disciplines. Your responsibilities will consist of clinic-based work and/or home-based rehabilitation depending on your expertise and interests. At the clinic, you may work with work capacity assessments, lymph therapy, hand rehabilitation, activities of daily living balance, and group activities. In home rehabilitation, responsibilities include ADL assessments, assistive device evaluations, prescription and fitting in the patient's home, visits at Sodexo facilities, memory assessments, home modifications, and cognitive assistive devices. You will provide advice and support on self-care. You will work alongside physical therapists and dietitians, participating in both team visits and individual visits. You will work together to structure your daily schedule. The tasks vary, which requires you to be organized, flexible, and independent, with the ability to oversee the patient's situation and prioritize your interventions accordingly. Since we work in patients' homes, it is important that you are comfortable in environments where there may be pets and that you are not sensitive to things like smoke odor. We maintain continuous collaboration with external healthcare providers in our area. With us, you have the opportunity to bring your own initiatives for how to best help your patients.
