JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a physical therapist with us, you will work with preventative, habilitative, and rehabilitative interventions for individuals in ordinary housing and those in care and residential facilities. Your responsibilities include motivating patients toward health and an active life. You assess needs, evaluate function, prescribe assistive devices, and carry out rehabilitation interventions with clear goals. Sometimes you meet with the patient individually and sometimes with an occupational therapist. The department also has two rehabilitation assistants who perform many tasks under the delegation of licensed personnel. The work also includes instructing care staff in activating and rehabilitative methods. Collaboration is important to us, and as a team we work with the quality register Senior Alert, where we conduct risk assessments to prevent health issues in patients. We are currently a silver municipality and are aiming for gold municipality status this year. As a physical therapist, you work to ensure that treatment, provision, and prescription of assistive devices are carried out appropriately. The position also involves delegation, supervision, and training of care personnel. QUALIFICATIONS The position requires that you are a licensed physical therapist. It is advantageous if you have prior professional experience. You are skilled at working independently and in an organized manner. You collaborate with colleagues in your work team and take responsibility for your contribution to the whole. We value qualities such as innovation, decisiveness, accuracy, and reliability. You have good IT skills and can express yourself well orally and in writing. A driver's license is required.
