Enebybergs School is located in a quiet residential area in Enebyberg in Danderyds Municipality. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Together with your colleagues, you will collaborate to plan instruction for a specific grade level, in accordance with our curriculum documents. You will be responsible for leading daily work in your class, both independently and in collaboration with other teachers. Shop instruction takes place in half-class groups of 10–13 students in excellent facilities. Teaching time is somewhat higher than our other positions at the school, but you will not be a mentor or duty supervisor. You are expected to continuously evaluate and follow up on instruction and adapt it to students' individual needs. This includes both students who need extra challenges and those who need additional support. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking someone who: • Is an accredited teacher with certification in wood and metal shop. • Has experience writing student reports and assigning grades. • Is well-versed in the school's mission and curriculum documents. • Has knowledge of inclusive and accessible learning environments. • Has excellent ability to express yourself both verbally and in writing in Swedish. We are seeking someone with strong initiative who is confident in communicating and building good relationships with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues. You plan and organize your work well and complete what you start while meeting deadlines. As a teacher, you have a clear interest in collaborative learning, are unpretentious, and are a natural leader in the classroom. Furthermore, you can work independently but also enjoy working as part of a team with colleagues and are collaboration-oriented.
