JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for a certified teacher with primary subject competence in civics at upper secondary level. You also have qualifications in an additional subject, such as history, religion, or Swedish. The position may also include efforts to promote adult individuals' career advancement, for example through collaboration with the municipality's labor market unit and the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen). As a teacher with us, you plan, conduct, and follow up on instruction based on adult education's governing documents and students' individual circumstances. You work both independently and together with colleagues to create high-quality instruction that promotes learning, participation, and goal achievement. The position is a permanent employment (substitute position). Placement: Adult Education in Mariestad. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who: • is a certified teacher with qualifications to teach civics at upper secondary level, • has additional subject qualifications in history, religion, or Swedish, • has previous teaching experience, • has strong ability to plan, organize, and adapt instruction to students' needs, • has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have: • experience working in adult education, • experience with flexible teaching methods and digital learning environments.
