WORK DUTIES You will teach vocational courses for upper secondary students in the Natural Resources Program with a forestry specialization in collaboration with other teachers in the program. You will be responsible for planning and conducting instruction in current courses for upper secondary and adult education students. It is important that you can organize and document your work independently. The content of the position is primarily instruction in forest machinery and terrain transportation, but may also include parts or entire courses such as service technology, forest management, entrepreneurship, chainsaws and brush saws, etc. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with solid background in the forestry industry. You have good theoretical and practical knowledge as a forest machinery operator. If you hold a vocational teacher diploma, instructor training, or have been active as a mentor for new colleagues in the industry, this is a merit. Forestry education at university level or equivalent knowledge is a merit. We place great value on your personal qualities and competencies. The role requires you to be organized and goal-oriented. You are curious and the desire to teach is an important driving force. You fill an important function and need to be a clear leader in the classroom, with the ability to create good relationships and an inclusive climate where every student feels seen and taken seriously. You have good communication skills, can motivate, create engagement, and foster participation. Driver's license category B is required. Employment type: Permanent position. Duration: Permanent.
