Ekebyskolan is a preschool-grade 6 school with approximately 250 students from preschool class through grade 6. About 45 employees work here, enjoying their workplace and each other's company. In middle school, we have two classes in each grade level. The school is located in a residential area in Djursholm with beautiful natural surroundings. We believe that clear leadership promotes safety and a good study atmosphere. We are now looking for a new colleague as a teacher in mathematics/science/technology for grades 4-6. Do you have teacher certification with qualifications to teach grades 4-6 in mathematics, science, and technology? Are you well versed in the school's mission and governing documents? Do you also have experience teaching and leading students? Then you might be the person we're looking for! 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES In this role, you will teach mathematics/science/technology in grades 4-6. You will work closely with colleagues to plan, implement, and systematically evaluate your teaching based on the students and our governing documents. You will be part of a middle school team where we work together, develop, and collaborate to create the best conditions for student learning. As a mathematics/science/technology teacher, you will also be a mentor for a class, together with a colleague. This includes responsibilities such as conducting development meetings. You will maintain close contact and collaboration with both students and guardians. With your commitment and drive, you contribute to making our school the absolute best for our students. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who: • Have teacher certification with qualifications to teach grades 4-6 in mathematics, science, and technology • Are well versed in the school's mission and governing documents • Have good command of Swedish in speech and writing. It is advantageous if you have: • Education focused on NPF diagnosis or experience working with students with NPF diagnoses. • Experience teaching in grades 4-6. • Experience in assessment and grading. We are looking for someone who is confident in communicating and building good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. We see that you take active initiative in social contexts and are structured in your work. We want you to have a clear interest in collaborative teacher learning and be a natural leader in the classroom.
