Your Tasks In practical-aesthetic subjects, you will work with an exploratory and creative approach where students' abilities, creativity, and desire to learn are at the center. You will inspire students in practical skills and help them develop an understanding of a healthy lifestyle. Your main responsibility is to work with planning, teaching, mentoring, and values-based education according to the curriculum (LGR22). As a teacher, you continuously develop new approaches based on the students you meet and use their interests to create engaging, meaningful, and challenging instruction. By documenting and monitoring student learning, you create good conditions for them to reach their goals. The position also includes contributing to student welfare work to ensure that students feel well and safe at school. You use digital tools as a natural part of your teaching. It is an advantage if you have authorization in additional subjects. You are organized and plan, organize, and prioritize your work while flexibly adapting instruction to students' needs and changing conditions. Positions are filled continuously based on school needs, and the job posting is updated regularly with open positions. When you submit your application, you have the opportunity to indicate preferred schools, and if you advance after a possible interview, you can visit schools that match current needs. If you are not a certified teacher, your application may be forwarded to principals with open temporary positions. If you already work as a teacher at our schools but are interested in changing units, you need to apply here. However, you do not need to go through the entire recruitment process. Other Information Before you can be employed, you must provide a valid criminal record certificate from the police. During the interview, you must verify your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or identity certificate together with an ID. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, EU, EES, or Switzerland, you must provide proof of a valid work permit or be exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.
