You will lead them in their schoolwork with the support of teaching assistants working in the different classrooms. You need to be flexible and able to individualize instruction based on each student's unique circumstances. The position also includes serving as a mentor for a class. At Ingridskolan, this involves more extensive and continuous work than at many other schools, with daily contact and check-ins with guardians regarding the student's development, challenges, and support needs, as well as close collaboration with the EHT (multidisciplinary team). We are seeking a colleague with a strong interest in special education and experience/training in working with our student population (NPF/autism/ADHD/dyslexia/language disorders, etc.). Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. Key qualities include being confident in the teaching role and being prepared to take responsibility for student development toward goals from a holistic perspective. The school is located in Bergshamra, Solna. The school operates based on TEACCH pedagogy, with each class having one teacher and one to two teaching assistants.
