The school is located in the northwestern parts of the city, and we have a large catchment area that gives us a varied student population. At Västervångskolan, we are now looking for an engaged crafts teacher who wants to help create inspiring instruction where students develop both practical skills and problem-solving abilities. The position is split with 80% at the primary school and 20% at the adapted school, which means you will meet students with different backgrounds and needs. As a crafts teacher, you are responsible for planning, delivering, and following up on crafts instruction in accordance with the curriculum. You create a safe and stimulating learning environment where students have the opportunity to develop creativity, craftsmanship knowledge, and understanding of materials, techniques, and sustainable development. The role includes, among other things: • Plan, deliver, and evaluate crafts instruction • Inspire students to develop creativity, problem-solving, and craftsmanship knowledge • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment in the crafts classroom • Adapt instruction based on students' individual backgrounds and needs • Assess and document students' knowledge development • Collaborate with colleagues, student support services, and school leadership regarding student learning and development With us, you get the opportunity to work in an operation where creativity, learning, and collaboration are in focus. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is engaged, organized, and has a genuine interest in students' learning and development. You are pedagogical, clear in your leadership, and have a positive and solution-oriented approach.
