Finnstaskolan is an F-6 school in Bro with approximately 430 students from preschool through grade 6. About 60 people work here. Finnstaskolan is characterized by a family spirit, well-developed safety measures, and structured recess activities. We actively work to strengthen all students' language development and offer a language track for children with general language disorders or severe expressive language disorders. We are seeking a qualified and certified Spanish teacher for instruction in grade 6. The position is currently a permanent position with hourly employment of approximately 4 hours/week distributed over 2 days, one morning and one afternoon. These hours include planning time. About the role: You plan, organize, prioritize, and analyze your lesson structure as well as other assignments that are part of your role in an efficient manner. The position involves typical teacher duties such as planning, instruction, follow-up, grading, and analysis of daily work, as well as contact with students and parents and mentors, regarding both learning and the social environment. We are looking for you who have: Certification and teacher credentials in Spanish for grade 6 instruction. Experience and ability to design instruction in accordance with curricula, subject plans, and current knowledge requirements. Experience taking responsibility for and insight into student results and needs, and you structure and adapt your instruction to create a safe and appropriate learning environment. Knowledge of grading and assessment and good documentation and basis for your assessments. You are organized and make your planning and lesson design visible to students and guardians for maximum accessibility. As a person, you are self-directed, driven, initiative-taking, and courageous in your leadership and dare to lead the class with clear boundaries. We would like to see social accessibility complement professional expertise to maximize student safety and learning. You are confident, stable, and have self-awareness, and you value and create good conditions for collaboration and foster good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
