Mörmoskolan Grades 7-9 moved into brand new facilities at the start of the 24/25 school year. For the 25/26 school year, we have approximately 260 students distributed across 10 classes and are a school where students and teachers jointly shape the future. 1 position(s). DUTIES We are looking for a credentialed teacher with authorization to teach Spanish for grades 7-9. As a teacher at Mörmoskolan Grades 7-9, you will work in close collaboration with colleagues to systematically make instruction and the learning environment accessible to all students. You see and apply different pedagogical solutions to stimulate and create conditions for development and learning together with others. At Mörmoskolan, we believe that trusting relationships are the foundation for learning. You are skilled at creating such relationships with both students, colleagues, and guardians. You leverage students' interests as a way to engage, challenge, and teach them. Your teaching is characterized by a language and knowledge development approach where you adapt instruction to students' needs through guidance, stimulation, and adjustments. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who: • hold teacher credentials with authorization to teach Spanish for grades 7-9. • have the ability to adapt instruction based on students' varying needs. • are a clear, confident, and unpretentious classroom leader. • have a student-centered approach and see student participation as a natural part of learning. • are skilled at creating trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Selection and interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Appointment to the position is contingent upon required decisions being made. Prior to employment, you are required to provide a valid police record certificate in accordance with applicable legislation.
