About the School: Hedda Wisingskolan is a grades 7-9 school with approximately 350 students and 50 staff members. Our school is a place for challenges, curiosity, and learning—a place where everyone can thrive, grow, and develop, both students and staff. Here we work in teams in very close collaboration with student support services to enable a comprehensive view of students' studies and well-being. We are a school with a faculty of mixed ages and very high qualification levels. The school focuses clearly on international networking and holds Erasmus accreditation, providing well-financed opportunities for collaboration and exchanges with other countries, primarily within the EU. Several well-established partnerships with Spain exist. The school has excellent ICT resources where all students use laptops in a one-to-one solution and digital teaching materials in all subjects, good access to digital support materials, and a well-functioning learning portal for planning, communication, grades, and assessment. For several years we have worked with the National School Board's SKUA professional development program for language and knowledge-development teaching methods. Through close collaboration with teaching colleagues, resource personnel, student support teams, and school management, you will contribute to creating an environment characterized by stability, safety, and structure. Together you will work to promote student learning, strengthen their self-confidence, and create motivation for continued studies. We are seeking a teacher of Spanish and Swedish with approximately a 50/50 distribution between the subjects. Required Qualifications: • Teaching certification/teacher license in Spanish and Swedish, and preferably additional subjects • Strong ability to use digital tools Desirable Qualifications: • Previous experience in the profession • Familiarity with curriculum goals and governing documents We are seeking someone who: We seek someone who is self-directed in your duties but seeks collaboration and has a solution-focused approach aimed at creating the best possible opportunities for students.
