Job Responsibilities As a teacher with us, you teach woodworking and metalworking crafts as well as technology in grades 1-6. You plan, conduct, and follow up on instruction based on the curriculum and students' needs, prerequisites, and progress. About the Operation Furuborgskolan is the municipality's newest school and encompasses grades F-6 and adapted primary education grades 1-6. Here, approximately 370 fantastic students meet an engaged and competent staff team that works together to create a safe, accessible, and developmental learning environment. Qualifications We are looking for you to conduct instruction where guidance and stimulation are a natural part of the learning environment and where all students are given the opportunity to develop as far as possible. You actively work to create structure, safety, and motivation in the classroom through clear and relational leadership. You see the importance of building trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues and have the ability to meet students with high expectations, warmth, and clarity. With us, you are expected to work systematically to develop instruction by analyzing students' learning and results and using research and proven experience as the foundation for your pedagogical work. You reflect on your instruction, try new methods, and actively contribute to the school's joint development work. To Be Suitable for the Position • You are a certified teacher with credentials to teach woodworking, metalworking, and technology for the relevant grade levels • You have clear, safe, and relational leadership • You work consciously with guidance and stimulation to meet all students' different needs • You have a good ability to create an accessible and inclusive learning environment • You plan, conduct, and evaluate instruction systematically based on students' learning and results • You use a scientific foundation and proven experience to develop the quality of instruction • You are flexible, responsible, and have good collaboration skills • You see the strength in collegial learning and want to contribute to the entire school's development • You have a natural ability to build good relationships and collaborate with students, guardians, student health services, and colleagues Additional Information We require that you provide an excerpt from the criminal records and suspicion register before employment.
