Your Assignment We are looking for someone with certification and experience teaching Mathematics and Science to grades 4-6. Additional certification in one or more teaching subjects is a merit. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction in your subjects based on the curriculum. You adapt instruction according to students' needs, interests, and conditions, and work with classroom leadership and engagement. You follow up on, assess, and document students' academic development. Creating a learning environment and sense of security is a natural part of the assignment. Mentoring is part of the assignment, and you are responsible for building trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You participate in subject area groups and work as part of a team for the intermediate grades consisting of teachers and support staff. You collaborate on student matters, planning, assessment, pedagogical development work, and systematic quality improvement. There is room to influence and develop instruction based on your interests, knowledge, and experience. Your Experience For this position, you must have: - Teaching certification with subject authorization for grades 4-6 in Mathematics and Science - At least three years of experience working as a teacher at the intermediate level - Strong digital competence with experience using digital pedagogical tools - Good ability to express yourself clearly in Swedish, both orally and in writing It is a merit if you also have: - Teaching certification with subject authorization for grades 4-6 in one or more other teaching subjects - Experience with mentoring - Experience working with students in need of extra accommodations and special support Are You the Right Person? Nacka Music Classes are also available for grades 4-6. We actively work to create an integrated sense of knowledge and security from preschool through grade 6.
