The Education Administration is responsible for all activities within the municipality's preschools, primary schools, adapted primary school, after-school centers, gymnasium, and adult education. At Arlanda Gymnasium, approximately 1,300 students study. We offer 11 gymnasium programs, including both college-preparatory programs and vocational programs. The school has one of the few aviation technology programs in Sweden, as well as national and local sports programs in handball, soccer, floorball, ice hockey, and esports. Arlanda Gymnasium also offers introductory programs, adapted for students who lack eligibility for a national program, as well as adapted gymnasium school, which is a four-year voluntary program for young people with intellectual disabilities. Our annual evaluations show that students and staff feel very comfortable at our school. Skilled teachers and the gymnasium's bright and airy facilities are contributing factors. And not least the positive climate among students. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES Arlanda Gymnasium is now seeking a gymnasium teacher to work with our college-preparatory programs and teach Mathematics. You will work with our wonderful students in courses that demand great flexibility, knowledge, and curiosity. As a person, you are attentive and creative and can meet each student based on their individual circumstances. QUALIFICATIONS You have a teaching credential in mathematics for gymnasium level and have experience teaching gymnasium students in mathematics. It is advantageous if you have an additional subject in your teaching credential. You are a confident person with very good leadership skills, are solution-focused, and have a positive attitude. You provide students with feedback and develop their knowledge through clarity, enthusiasm, and commitment. As a leader in the classroom, you ensure that you create a safe atmosphere that follows the school's values and rules. You who apply have good digital competence and feel confident using common digital tools.
