Chemistry/Biology Teacher, Grades 7–9 We are looking for an engaged and confident teacher who is passionate about making chemistry and biology exciting. You want to help create a stimulating, structured, and inclusive learning environment where theory meets practice. About the Position As a chemistry and biology teacher, you are responsible for instruction in grades 7–9. Your role involves planning and delivering instruction grounded in scientific principles, alternating between theoretical presentations and hands-on laboratory work and systematic investigations. You work to strengthen students' analytical abilities and their capacity to apply subject knowledge to solve problems and understand the world around them. The position involves close collaboration with colleagues and active participation in the school's quality improvement efforts. We are looking for someone who: Holds a teaching certification in chemistry and biology for upper primary school. Has very confident and clear classroom management with a focus on creating a focused learning environment. Works with a high degree of structure and predictability, which is essential for students to master abstract concepts. Has a professional approach to assessment, weaving in formative methods to make students' progress toward learning standards visible. Is responsible, solution-oriented, and wants to contribute to an inspiring work environment. Other Information This is a permanent position (80%) with a 6-month probationary period. Start: Fall 2026.
