We are now seeking a teacher with instruction in physical education and health, as well as a shared mentoring assignment at Alléskolan. Alléskolan is a modern school organized in age-homogeneous work teams. Here works a dedicated staff team that constantly drives development initiatives and has a clear focus on placing the student at the center. The school has a world-class school library that supports students' learning. The school is centrally located in Åtvidaberg in close proximity to Kopparvallen and Bysjön. At Alléskolan, we work with tools that help students become aware of how to increase their goal achievement through security, study focus, and accessible learning environments. We work to create clear, supportive learning processes and equitable, evidence-based assessment. Our objective and focus is increased academic results and improved student attendance. Your responsibilities As a physical education teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction in the subject of Physical Education and Health in close collaboration with your colleagues. You work to create varied and challenging instruction to lay the foundation for good health and physical fitness in our students. Instruction is adapted based on students' different needs and circumstances, with the goal that all students feel included, motivated, and given the opportunity to succeed. The position includes a class advisor role for grade 9 together with a colleague. The assignment involves close collaboration with students, guardians, and other school staff. You are also expected to actively contribute to the school's development work with a focus on increased goal achievement, attendance, and a positive learning environment. About you We are seeking someone with teacher certification with the qualification to teach physical education and health. We are also interested in you if you are near the end of your education. Previous experience teaching physical education in middle school is desirable. To succeed in the role of physical education teacher, we see that you are calm and confident in your role. You have strong leadership skills and can create engagement and participation among students. You adapt easily to changing circumstances. Furthermore, you are outgoing and have a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
