They include preschool, pre-K, elementary school, adapted elementary school, after-school care, and youth centers. Hammarskolan is a development-oriented and pleasant school located in Surahammar with proximity to public transportation. Within the school's area are two main buildings, a dining hall, a gymnasium, an artificial turf field, and an ice rink. The school has adapted classrooms for STEM subjects and science instruction. We have a special instruction group and a smaller support group. We have a maximum of 24 students in each class. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for you as a home economics teacher to teach grades 7-9. You will daily meet adolescents in a very exciting and developmental phase of life. As a teacher, you will teach inquisitive teenagers where you can influence and inspire students to deeper knowledge within your subjects, while guiding them toward their future. Your duties include planning, conducting, and evaluating instruction and following up on student learning. Additionally, you will collaborate with colleagues for student, group, and school development. QUALIFICATIONS You have a teaching license with authorization to teach home economics. You are a clear leader who has structure and good pedagogical skills in teaching. We want you to have high expectations and a belief that all students can succeed. As a teacher, you adapt your instruction based on each student's unique circumstances and see school development as a natural part of the teaching profession. You can motivate students to achieve good results in their schoolwork by clearly articulating goals and learning requirements. You find it easy to establish collaborative forms and see the work team as an asset. We place great importance on the ability to build personal relationships. Employment Form: Permanent position. During the interview, you will need to verify your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or identity certificate along with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, the EEA, or Switzerland, you must provide proof of a valid work permit or be exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.
