Does this sound like a school where you want to make a difference? Read on! About the Role As a teacher of home and consumer studies, you will teach students in grades 7–9. The scope of the position can be adapted based on your qualifications and the opportunity to combine the role with other assignments or subjects. Home and consumer studies is a subject of great importance for students' futures. Through instruction, students develop knowledge and skills that help them make conscious decisions about food, health, personal finance, sustainable consumption, and daily life. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: ✔ Inspire students to develop practical skills and a responsible approach to everyday challenges. ✔ Plan and deliver instruction in areas such as cooking, nutrition, personal finance, consumer studies, and sustainable development. ✔ Create a safe and structured learning environment where students can experiment, collaborate, and develop through hands-on work. ✔ Collaborate with engaged colleagues to develop the school's pedagogical activities. ✔ Help give students knowledge that strengthens their independence and ability to make conscious choices throughout their lives. ✔ Be a clear leader and a listening educator who sees each student and their individual needs. You work closely with your team to plan, deliver, evaluate, and develop instruction in accordance with curriculum guidelines and the school's vision. The role requires structure, creativity, and flexibility to meet students' diverse needs and create instruction where everyone can succeed. Who Are You?
