The role as a high school teacher with us You will teach students in the Introduction Program, where teaching often requires flexibility, creativity, and a deep understanding of students in need of special support. Work tasks In this role, you will: Teach mathematics and physics (possibly other subjects) with a focus on accessible learning and high achievement. Plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching based on each student's individual needs and circumstances. Work actively with relational leadership to create motivation, security, and a good learning environment. Act as a mentor and support students' academic, social, and personal development. Collaborate with guardians, student services, social services, and other external partners when students' needs require it. Participate in and drive joint teaching initiatives together with colleagues on the team. Implement development initiatives with the team focusing on collective learning. Contribute to the school's systematic quality work and development efforts. Your profile You have a strong relational approach and see relationships as a central part of students' learning and development. You feel confident in your role as a mentor and have a natural ability to create trusting and professional relationships with students, guardians, and collaboration partners. With genuine commitment, you see strengths and opportunities in every student and work to ensure all have the best conditions to succeed. As a person, you are self-driven, responsible, and well-organized. You take initiative, work with a solution-oriented approach, and have the perseverance required to move the work forward even when challenges arise. At the same time, you are unpretentious and generous in sharing your knowledge and experience. You enjoy working with others and see collaboration as an important prerequisite for successful teaching and a positive work environment. You have the courage to think innovatively, are open to development, and want to actively contribute to strengthening and developing the operation. You express yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing, as this is required in daily work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. We are seeking someone who: Holds a teacher certification with credentials in mathematics and physics for primary or secondary school. Has substantial experience working with young people in need of special support. Has good knowledge of accommodations, differentiated instruction, and accessible learning environments. Has experience with school development, change management, and/or collaborative learning. It is meritorious if you have: Credentials in additional subjects.
