For us, respect for differences and the equal value of all people are fundamental. Töråsskolan is located in Anderstorp and is a preschool-grade 6 school with approximately 145 students. We have approximately 65 children enrolled in our afterschool program. We have a wonderful schoolyard with many green spaces that invite play and spontaneous activities during breaks and leisure time. A full-size gymnasium and two craft rooms are available for afterschool activities in the afternoons. We work in a structured manner according to the curriculum. We regularly follow up on our work and evaluate to maintain or change for improvement. We have planning days and a shared approach to our students. Tuesdays are the school's conference time. Afterschool staff meet for conference in the morning together with school management. We also use this time for collegial discussions and professional development. V-class is the municipality's communication platform. The days are divided into; morning afterschool, school, and afternoon/evening afterschool. In this position, you will be attached to a work team during school hours and to a department during the afternoon/evening. Job Responsibilities The position includes being part of a work team during school hours, being in the classroom, and being part of the afterschool work team in the afternoon. - Pedagogical planning, documentation, evaluation, and follow-up are part of the work. - Keeping yourself updated on curriculum and other governing documents. - Regularly being an active part of work team meetings. - Creating and maintaining trusting relationships with guardians, colleagues, and students. We also want to develop students' musical abilities. If you have experience in or education in music, we see it as a great advantage if this position can be combined with music instruction. Qualifications To best succeed in the position, you have an afterschool pedagogue degree and several years of experience in the field. If you lack formal education, you should still be well familiar with pedagogy for children in afterschool environments and their development, and have several years of experience working with children aged 6-10 years. We place great emphasis on you being interested in working with children and building relationships with the children, guardians, and colleagues to create a trustworthy school day for the students. For a permanent position, you must be a licensed afterschool teacher/hold teaching certification.
