JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As an afterschool teacher with us, you will have a key role in creating a meaningful, developmental, and safe afterschool activity for our students. Together with committed colleagues, you plan and deliver instruction based on the curriculum and governing documents, always with student learning and well-being in focus. Together, you are responsible for creating an educationally rich, meaningful, and safe environment for our students at the afterschool program. We strive for collegial learning across our different professions, which you will be part of. You will also participate in our school-wide development processes. Together with other colleagues, you shall focus on the school's values and approach to knowledge. An active values-based work is a matter of course for you. You have drive and contribute to the afterschool program's quality work. In your role, you are engaged in creating a safe foundation for our students. An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate students to develop their abilities and create opportunities for learning. You shall be well versed in the school's governing documents and familiar with its documentation requirements. Part of the position is scheduled during school hours, which involves collaboration with teaching staff in the lower grades. QUALIFICATIONS You must have teacher certification with qualification for afterschool care. Another person with pedagogical education that the employer considers equivalent may be considered, but then for a fixed-term position. You have good knowledge of and experience working according to the elementary school's governing documents and documentation requirements. Employment type: Permanent employment.
