The position is permanent at 100% with a start date of August 10, 2026. Kyrkskolan is centrally located near Danderyd center and Kyrkskolan. The school has approximately 365 students. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As an after-school teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, following up on, and developing instruction in the after-school program in accordance with Lgr22 (chapters 1, 2, and 4) and the Education Act. Your responsibilities also include ensuring the after-school program's work to stimulate students' development and learning, as well as offering meaningful leisure time that promotes safety, participation, and social community. The school's compulsory instruction and the after-school program's activities should together form a whole. A central function for after-school teachers is leading the after-school department, and one of the primary tools is familiarity with the curriculum and other governing documents that specify the program's goals. In your role, you will, among other things: • plan, implement, and evaluate instruction for the after-school program • lead the after-school team • work with students, both individually and in small groups • serve as a resource in class during school hours QUALIFICATIONS We want you to have: • Certification as an after-school teacher. • Good knowledge of the Swedish language. It is meritorious if you: • Are a good leader with familiarity in the curriculum and can anchor it in the program. • Have knowledge of students with special educational needs. You are a clear leader with salutogenic leadership skills and good knowledge of the curriculum and the after-school program's mission. You are good at collaboration and see collegial cooperation within after-school care and with the school as an asset and prerequisite for having an inclusive school. As a person, you should be positive, structured, and solution- and development-oriented. We are a school with the commitment to reach all students and see each individual every day.
