About the Position Your primary task is to challenge students in their learning together with colleagues in work teams and support students in their knowledge development toward established goals. The after-school program should complement school and compensate for the home environment. In addition to planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction, you will work with colleagues in work teams to develop the school based on prioritized development areas and the unit's improvement work. This year we are working with EMPATHY across all subjects in the school and on the unit's 3 after-school departments. We also focus on reading development and student participation. Who Are You? You are a certified after-school teacher with authorization to teach your subjects in school and in the after-school program. Your ability to create good trusting relationships with students is a prerequisite. All our students should have strong trusting relationships with the adults around them. We are looking for someone who is well familiar with the purpose, competencies, and knowledge requirements of the subjects and is well versed in the after-school program's view of knowledge and value-based mission. You have good knowledge and competence in digital and formative learning processes. You have the ability to motivate and create situations that contribute to meaningful learning and learning environments characterized by inclusion, variation, and interactivity. You have the ability to see and meet each student, build on what works, and provide broad guidance and stimulation in instruction. Your learning in collaborative learning is self-evident. You reflect on and analyze your own teaching as a natural part of your practice. You have great commitment in your after-school instruction and take great responsibility in your work. You are interested in developing instruction to be more meaningful, comprehensible, and manageable so that we achieve the effect of students becoming more curious and wanting to learn more. You have excellent ability to create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are communicative and creative. For this position, the monthly salary is between 36,000 and 40,000 kr, depending on experience, education, and competence.
