Teaching takes place in age-divided classes with three to four classes per grade. The school is located 1 km from Kramfors city center with proximity to nature. Near the school are destinations such as playgrounds and forests. The municipality's sports facility is nearby and offers opportunities for exciting challenges and is used both during school hours and during after-school time. To create a good learning environment for students, teachers, preschool teachers, and after-school staff collaborate across the different activity forms. Staff are organized in work teams that include teachers and after-school personnel for each age group. After-school activities work to provide children with meaningful leisure time by supporting their development, practicing creativity, and strengthening their ability to take responsibility for themselves and others. Participation and free play are important parts of after-school activities. We are now seeking a teacher for our after-school program! 1 position(s). RESPONSIBILITIES As a teacher in the after-school program, you work according to the after-school program's mission to stimulate students' development and learning in cooperation with the school's activities. Based on the curriculum, you follow the common thread between the after-school program's and school's pedagogical planning. Together we want to create activities that meet our students and their parents' needs in the best way. Your responsibilities include planning and leading instruction at the after-school program together with the after-school staff. You will be part of a work team. In your role, you also have close collaboration with classroom teachers, with the aim of complementing each other's expertise. You are a key person in seeing the whole picture for students who are both in school and after-school programs. The after-school program is often the beginning and end of the student's day. Opening and closing the after-school program are part of the responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is trained and licensed as a teacher in after-school programs or as a teacher for younger ages with a specialization in after-school programs. We see that you: • Have experience with development work in after-school programs and have great commitment and attention to detail to conduct quality work within the after-school program. • Possess good structural and strategic abilities and have a holistic perspective on the development of after-school programs. • Have good leadership qualities and enjoy working together with others in a team. • Have knowledge of IT, both in your own work and in work with students' learning environment and their various learning tools in our activities.
