Description Kilafors School is seeking an English and German teacher starting fall 2026, with the position allocated as 70% English instruction and 30% German instruction. Depending on your qualifications, there is an opportunity to teach English and another subject instead of German. The position is a permanent full-time employment beginning August 2026 or by agreement. Kilafors School is a K-9 primary school in Bollnäs Municipality, with proximity to beautiful nature featuring forests, meadows, and water that inspire play, creativity, and learning. We have single-grade classes in K-1 and grades 2-3, single-grade classes in grades 4, 5, and 6, one class in grade 7, two classes in grade 8, and one class in grade 9. Responsibilities As a primary school teacher, you will teach English and German, or another subject depending on your qualifications. In addition to teaching, you will plan, conduct, evaluate, and analyze pedagogical work in accordance with the curriculum and applicable governing documents. Through collaboration with other school staff, you will also work toward the school's development and strive to create a positive environment for both students and staff. Qualifications We are looking for a certified teacher with qualifications to teach English. We also expect you to have qualifications in German or another subject in primary school. Particular weight is placed on personal qualities, such as the ability to collaborate with students, guardians, and other adults, as well as to be a good role model overall. You are a person with strong ability to collaborate with students, guardians, and other adults and to be a good role model in other respects.
