At Önnestadsgymnasiet, we offer five specializations and a total of 9 vocational pathways within our natural resources program. Here we study and teach natural resource management in practice through specializations in forestry, animal care, nature tourism, horse management, and agriculture. The atmosphere between staff and students is personal, classes are small, and both our facilities and educational grounds are of high quality. Since 2010, Hushållningssällskapet Skåne has been the main operator of Önnestadsgymnasiet, providing a stable and secure foundation for our operations. We have just over 50 employees working in coordination for our 230 students. Önnestadsgymnasiet is located 8 km northwest of Kristianstad. About the Position We are now seeking a substitute teacher in biology and science for the school year 2026/2027. The role also includes supporting students in mathematics when needed, particularly in connection with their vocational studies within the natural resources program. As a teacher with us, you are part of a teaching team where you plan, conduct, and follow up on instruction in close collaboration with colleagues. Mentoring and other shared duties are a natural part of the role. You actively contribute to the school's pedagogical development and to a safe and study-motivating environment for our students. About You We are looking for someone who is engaged, organized, and has a relationship-building approach. You enjoy working closely with both students and colleagues and see the value of collaboration in teaching and student support. You have pedagogical flexibility and the ability to meet students with different backgrounds and needs.
