Responsibilities As a teacher in grades F–3 at Svandammsskolan, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction according to current curriculum guidelines. You work systematically with language and knowledge-developing teaching methods as well as with students' social development. The position involves close collaboration with colleagues, student support services, and guardians to create a safe and structured learning environment. About the Workplace The Department of Children and Education's primary task is to offer a safe and stimulating learning environment where we prepare children and young people for the future. We also work to promote access to cultural and recreational activities for all residents. Svandammsskolan is located in the southern part of Nynäshamn and is a two-parallel school for students in grades F-6. What We're Looking For in You To succeed in this role, you have: Teacher certification with authorization to teach grades F–3 Documented experience in teaching or similar pedagogical work Good ability to document, follow up on, and analyze students' knowledge development Good knowledge of the current curriculum and the school's governing documents Good digital competence and experience using digital tools in instruction and documentation Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing Personal Qualities We Are Looking For You are an engaged, positive, and stable person who takes responsibility for your work. You have a good ability to lead, plan, and follow up on instruction in a long-term and systematic way. You have good pedagogical insight and design instruction so that students' confidence in their own abilities is strengthened.
