As a teacher in Grade 2 and after-school care at Glumslöv School, you are responsible for creating an inspiring and developmental environment for students during their time in after-school activities. You work both during school hours as a teacher in Grade 2 with a student and after school in the after-school program. The role involves actively contributing to the student's social and personal development through structured activities, play and learning. The daily work includes: • Planning and implementing meaningful activities that promote student development and learning in the after-school program. • Supporting the student pedagogically during school hours as an extra teacher in the classroom. • Creating safety and structure through clear frameworks, low-arousal approach and good leadership. • Building good relationships with students, guardians and colleagues to promote collaboration and well-being. • Contributing to the development of activities through innovation, initiative and goal-oriented work. QUALIFICATIONS Who are we looking for? We are looking for a certified teacher with experience working in an after-school program. As a person, you are a secure and clear teacher with a low-arousal and responsive approach. You have a natural ability to meet each student based on their needs and create an environment where children feel seen and appreciated. You are relationship-building, organized and actively contribute to a positive culture throughout the school day. We value your initiative and your solution-focused approach. You enjoy collaboration, are creative in your pedagogy and see opportunities in every encounter with children, guardians and your colleagues. Competency Requirements: • Trained and certified teacher • Trained swimming instructor • Good knowledge of Swedish spoken and written Training in mentorship is a merit since we are a partner school with the task of receiving teacher students. Another merit is swimming ability, as swimming instruction may occur. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
