JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for a dedicated teacher for Ockelbo Primary School who, together with your team, wants to create the best conditions and a safe school day for all students. You are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating your teaching in collaboration with your colleagues. As a teacher, you also work with Student Welfare. Main job responsibilities include • Plan, implement, and evaluate instruction • Teaching in after-school care and physical education for grades 1-3 • Create and develop a good learning environment based on curriculum and policy documents The position involves approximately 50% work in after-school care and 50% teaching physical education. If you only have certification to teach Physical Education, the position can be adapted to 50% or combined with after-school care work. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a certified teacher with qualifications to teach after-school care and physical education grades 1-3; previous experience working as a teacher is considered a merit. You are well-grounded in the school's policy documents and can apply your knowledge effectively in your daily work. To succeed in this role, you have a professional approach and work to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are a dedicated educator who takes responsibility for your students' results and places great emphasis on adapting your instruction based on your students' different circumstances and needs. A criminal record check will be required upon employment. The position is permanent, but probationary employment may be applied. Employment Type: Permanent position.
