Welcome to Us We are now looking for you who wants to work as a teacher with us at the primary level. Skarpatorpsskolan is located in the Skarpnäck district and has a total of approximately 560 students and 100 employees. The school is divided into three buildings: one for primary grades, one for intermediate and upper grades, and one for adapted elementary school. The school has three parallel classes at the primary level and two parallel classes at the intermediate and upper level. Skarpnäck was built in the 1980s and consists mostly of apartment buildings and townhouses. The school is located in the middle of the area and is close to nature. Skarpatorpsskolan is located near Skarpnäck subway station and has several bus lines from different parts of Stockholm. It is easy to get to school. Your Role You will teach at the primary level and work together with an after-school care teacher. You will be part of a work team and a subject group. Teachers have subject team meetings once a week where teaching methods and knowledge development are discussed. Topics covered include formative assessment, language development approaches, cooperative learning, and digital competence. Co-assessment is conducted in teacher meetings at least once a month. Your Competence and Experience Requirement: You have teacher certification. Requirement: You are qualified to teach math, Swedish, science, social studies, and crafts for grades F-3. Meritorious if you have previous experience teaching the above subjects in grades F-3. You have proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. You are experienced working in various digital platforms such as Teams and DigiExam. You are driven, solution-focused, and bring your own ideas to help us collectively develop our school. Interviews will take place on a rolling basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline.
