JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Färjestaden Middle School is seeking a teacher with certification for grades 4-9 or other educational personnel with relevant education for this position to teach in a collaborative setting with integrated students in grade 7. We are looking for a driven and structured teacher/educator who wants to work with teaching, adaptations, development work, and collegial learning, always with the student at the center! It is important that you want to work with teaching and learning in all of the school's subjects. As a teacher, your duties include planning, teaching, grading, and evaluation. You motivate and encourage students to develop based on their individual circumstances, work relationally, and fulfill the teaching assignment according to applicable governing documents. For teachers at Färjestaden Middle School, collegial learning and collaboration are in focus. You work together with certified and qualified colleagues in all of the school's subjects and adapt teaching and learning to the target group and the individual student. At Färjestaden Middle School, full-time mentors are employed, which means that subject teachers do not have mentoring as part of their position. You, together with the entire work team, special education teacher, and full-time mentor, will be an important person throughout the school day for the student group you work with. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has teacher certification for grades 4-9 or other educational personnel with relevant education for this position, and who has a genuine interest in children and young people, collaboration, and learning. The school's state-of-the-art facilities are free from corridors, and the architecture offers flexible learning environments, activities, study areas, and work situations. Classrooms are primarily organized around work team arenas where each team has its own home base and where teachers and educators work close to the students. The presence of adults together with the school's design stimulates a safe environment where everyone can meet and be challenged on their own terms.
