We are now seeking a dedicated teacher for grades 4-6 who wants to become part of our team. Welcome to apply! About the Position You will work in grade 4 and teach mathematics and science subjects, and serve as a mentor for one of the classes in that grade. In this role, you will also teach mathematics and science to grade 6. You will be part of a work team that collaborates to plan, implement, and evaluate instruction for students. Examples of work tasks: plan, implement, evaluate, and assess your own instruction actively participate in efforts to achieve higher learning goals and a positive learning environment maintain good contact with students, colleagues, and guardians participate in and drive development initiatives know and follow applicable laws, policies, and procedures of the school work and document in the school's management systems About the Workplace Wallerska School serves grades K-6 and is located in the Hjärsta residential area in western Örebro. This fall we will move into completely renovated and newly built facilities with an adjoining newly constructed schoolyard. Qualifications As a teacher with us, it is important that you are a calm and stable person who contributes to a secure school environment. You work well with others and have a responsive approach where you listen and communicate. You also have knowledge of child development and learning as well as the ability to adapt instruction based on the group's and individual students' needs and circumstances. You are clear in your communication where you ensure that messages are understood and you take responsibility for your tasks and drive your processes forward. You also easily adapt to changed circumstances and can quickly shift your perspective and approach. Furthermore, you have mastery of the Swedish language so that you can communicate with students and other staff and can document in writing what the operation requires. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
