About the Workplace We are seeking a substitute teacher for the fall term, grades 4-6, at Alboskolan in Skepplanda. At Alboskolan, we invest in student well-being and actively participate in a project to strengthen parental health in our local area. The school holds continuous student well-being meetings (EHM) where the work team meets with student health services. Alboskolan, located in central Skepplanda, is a school characterized by strong cohesion, high expertise, and a firm belief that we make each other better. The school currently has 200 students. Alboskolan works closely with Garnvindeskolan F-3, which is located 500 meters away. Job Responsibilities We seek teachers who enjoy working in teams and who document their work digitally. It is important to us that you are a clear leader in the classroom. We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference for our students every day. You will plan, implement, and evaluate instruction in accordance with the curriculum, lgr-22, and the school's objectives. You also need to be familiar with the Education Act 2010:800. You need to be comfortable motivating students to engage in instruction. You will teach all art classes for middle school across three parallel classes, serve as an additional teacher, and work as a substitute to fill out a full-time position. Collaboration with colleagues and parents is essential to support students' progress. Together, we continuously work to develop professionally and help students reach further. During middle school, students develop from childhood into early adolescence, and you have an important role in stimulating their knowledge development and supporting them in their personal development during this period. Qualifications We seek someone with teaching certification or equivalent education with authorization to teach art, and preferably with authorization in core subjects for grades 4-6. To thrive in this role, you need to be a clear and flexible leader with inclusive leadership skills. You are an engaged employee with strong collaboration abilities who creates safety and trust through building good relationships and listening to students' diverse needs. You meet each student at their level of knowledge and contribute to developing learning environments that encourage student learning, inclusion, participation, and influence. You will work at a school that actively uses digital tools and teaching resources, so you need to have good IT skills.
