About the Operation: Bällstabergsskolan is a two-class school for grades F–9 in southern Vallentuna with proximity to Roslagsbanan. It is a safe and well-functioning school where both students and staff thrive. Students are given good conditions to develop both academically and socially. Our operation is characterized by engaged and competent teachers, after-school staff, and student support who together work to ensure every student reaches their full potential. The school has appropriate facilities, and each department has its own dining hall, creating a calm and pleasant environment. Responsibilities: We are seeking an engaged and certified teacher with the qualifications to teach mathematics, science, and technology for grades 4–6. If you have qualifications in additional subjects, we view that as a merit. You will serve as a mentor for a grade 4 class. As a teacher with us, you plan, implement, and develop instruction based on the curriculum goals and students' needs. Through varied teaching methods, experiments, and problem-solving, you inspire students' curiosity and strengthen their understanding of mathematics, natural sciences, and technology. You will be part of an engaged team for grades 4–6 with competent and experienced colleagues. You create a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment with high expectations for all students. With clear pedagogical leadership, you build good relationships, adapt instruction to students' different needs, and inspire them with curiosity, motivation, and a desire to learn. Together with colleagues, you actively contribute to the school's continued development. Qualifications: Certified teacher with qualifications in Math/Science for grades 4-6. Good digital competence. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. Meritorious to have qualifications in technology and/or broad experience in other subjects for grades 4-6. Personal Qualities: You work toward results, demonstrate reliability, and take responsibility for planning and follow-up of your work. You strengthen relationships by helping others, collaborating, following rules and processes, and sharing information.
