2 position(s). Would you like to contribute to a safe, structured, and inclusive school day for middle school students? We are now recruiting two teaching assistants for Withalaskolan. As a teaching assistant, you work alongside teachers and other school staff to support students' learning, development, and well-being at school. You are an important support in instruction and help create structure, a good study environment, and an inclusive learning setting. Your responsibilities include supporting students in their schoolwork, clarifying instructions, and providing extra support to students with different needs. You help prepare teaching materials and contribute to ensuring that instruction is conducted smoothly and efficiently. Beyond classroom work, you participate in recess, transitions, and activities. You also play an important role in promoting safety and positive relationships at school by working preventatively, providing social support to students, and contributing to the school's values-based work. You are part of the school's collective efforts around student well-being and satisfaction. Withalaskolan is located in the heart of Vetlanda, just a stone's throw from the city center and Stortorget. About 700 students in grades 7–9 attend here, and we are approximately 80 employees who together create an environment where all students have the opportunity to become their best selves. As a teaching assistant, you work both independently and on assignment from teachers, in close collaboration with colleagues. You are an important part of creating a functioning daily routine and a good climate both inside and outside the classroom. We are looking for someone who is confident, receptive, and has good interpersonal skills. You are organized in your work, work well with others, and can adapt your approach to different situations.
