1 position(s). About the Workplace We are now recruiting a Team Leader, Fire Chief for Höglandets Räddningstjänstförbund. A permanent position based in Vetlanda. Höglandets Räddningstjänstförbund is a municipal association in which Nässjö and Vetlanda municipalities are members, and Sävsjö municipality will also join after the turn of the year. We are responsible for rescue services in the area, but also have other tasks within the accident prevention area, such as supervision, fire safety inspections, and chimney sweeping. The organization has approximately 80 full-time employees, of which 55 are part of the operational activities. In addition, we have 130 part-time firefighters who, with standby at home/work, play an important role when situations become critical. Job Duties As a Team Leader, Fire Chief, you are responsible for the daily operations at the station, coordinating, following up, conducting exercises with the team, and ensuring that vehicles and equipment are maintained at an acceptable level. You also have responsibility for vacancy management due to illness and parental leave related to the Vetlanda station. As a Team Leader, Fire Chief, you must be able to work in supporting roles in system, operations, and task management, as well as in the roles of rescue commander, sector chief, and staff member. The fire chief's area of responsibility during operations is to conduct task distribution and collaboration. Operations management may occur depending on the situation and needs. In your role as rescue commander, you also have coordination responsibility for the work environment during operations. The position also includes a departmental assignment with a focus on incident follow-up after alarms. You quality-assure incident reports, develop training materials, create procedures, and train officers in incident reporting. The role requires good structure, attention to detail, and comfort with conducting training sessions in front of groups of approximately 10-20 people. Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis.
