About the Client The client is a 53-year-old woman living in Rinkeby (just minutes from the subway and bus stops). She has several disabilities: Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (which causes connective tissue throughout her body to not function properly), balance disorder, paralysis, pain conditions, allergies, asthma, hearing loss with tinnitus, Asperger's syndrome, and some other conditions. However, she can think, plan, and structure her life independently. The client has an ileostomy (a pouch on the abdomen) and a Suprapubic Catheter (also called cystostomy, cystofix, abdominal catheter, SPK). Therefore, you should not have a problem handling blood. About the Tasks The client needs help with everything from assistance with cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene. Your task is to help the client live as independently as possible despite her disabilities. The Employer IGS Assistans is a private company with over 25 years of experience in personal assistance.
