DUTIES Do you want to lead the transformation toward the social services of the future? Gnosjö Municipality, like all municipalities, faces challenges in transforming to good and accessible care, as well as implementing the new social services law. As Quality Director, you will work in the Social Services Department's management group in close collaboration with both the Social Services Manager and our operational managers. In this role, you will coordinate cross-departmental and strategic work and follow up on this against politically set goals. You are responsible for developing environmental analyses and developing the entire department in quality and development matters. You will also lead various development processes and investigation assignments, both independently and in collaboration with others. The role includes responsibility for the unit's personnel, operations and budget. You will lead a team of 5 employees, consisting of specialists such as MAS (Medical Responsible Coordinator), MAR (Medical Responsibility Rehab) and a Development Manager. You also have the Board Secretary in your team who, in addition to standard duties, also works on development initiatives. You also have the Administrative Manager and System Administrator in your management group, who works and serves the entire department. Work takes place in close collaboration with the department's managers, where operational needs are the starting point. You report to the Social Services Manager and are part of the department's management group. In the management group there are two operational managers with whom you will work closely. The role also includes serving as a spokesperson to the political board. In this position, you will have great opportunity to influence and drive the department's development work. The Social Services Department faces major transformations to meet future needs, and as Quality Director you play an important role in this transformation work. There are therefore significant development and collaboration opportunities in this role. QUALIFICATIONS To thrive and succeed as Quality Director, you need to have relevant higher education and experience in quality and development work within social services. You have documented experience in management as a leader, and thus well-developed leadership skills with experience creating trust, clarity and results. You have good experience driving development work and applying a process-oriented approach, as well as experience working in a politically governed organization, preferably regarding development and change initiatives. Beyond this, you have the ability to see the organization as a whole, and are curious, fearless and engaged. You are driven to lead change work and do this independently based on experience and knowledge. You have communication skills and a talent for creating engagement and participation in a group of competent, independent employees working in many different areas. You express yourself easily and clearly in writing. In your role, you are also responsible for assessing and investigating Lex Sarah reports and making any reports to the supervisory authority IVO. The role also includes following up on measures taken for identified errors and shortcomings in operations. You provide feedback and assist in a pedagogical manner and contribute to increased learning for operations in areas such as legal certainty and the Lex Sarah process. You also support operations in systematic quality work and contribute to the development of routines and work methods. We are looking for someone who takes own initiative. You are used to working independently and take great responsibility for your tasks in close collaboration and dialogue with the Social Services Department's management group. You have well-developed pedagogical skills and can contribute knowledge and learning to your colleagues in a simple and clear manner in complex matters concerning, for example, legislation. You should also be able to support, inform and educate employees and managers within the department. You plan, organize and prioritize the work to be done in an efficient manner and are clear in your communication. You have good analytical skills and can easily grasp complex issues, while working solution-focused from a holistic perspective.
