About 30 languages are spoken at the school, including Swedish. The Adapted Primary School also operates entirely at Kristinedalskolan. Kristinedalskolan is a single-story school centrally located in Stenungsund with proximity to nature and various activities. In addition to school activities for students from preschool class through grade 9, the school also provides after-school care and youth club activities. The school should be a safe and positive place where it is fun to learn new things. 1 position(s). DUTIES We are seeking a certified teacher of home economics and consumer studies. The position includes teaching in primary school grades 6-9 and adapted primary school grades 4-9. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing instruction, and you will serve as a mentor for a group of students. The school works systematically with values-based education based on the curriculum Lgr22. As a teacher with us, you will be part of a teaching team where you work with colleagues to contribute to the school's development and strive together to develop and achieve set goals. You will also be part of a subject group of three home economics teachers, where you collectively develop instruction based on identified needs. You differentiate your instruction and create accessible learning environments for the group so that all students learn and develop. You have high expectations and create good conditions for students' positive learning identity. Teaching involves constant development based on the students we meet. You should have strong pedagogical competence and be thoroughly familiar with the curriculum guidelines for primary school and adapted primary school. QUALIFICATIONS You should be a certified teacher in home economics and consumer studies or have acquired experience that the employer deems equivalent. You see yourself as a strong pedagogical leader who is passionate about improving instruction. You should have a work style where student influence and flexibility are natural elements. You are a good classroom leader with clarity in communication, goals, and results. You have qualities that include both structure and creativity. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and the ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
